This winter has been an EXCEPTIONALLY snowy, wet winter. Although I am very greatful for the moisture, I think I have seen enough for the rest of the year and I am very anxious for spring! The other day we were driving around during a pretty bad storm and Kaysia says to me, "Why is it snowing AGAIN! Mom, I am sick of snow, I want it to be summer. I want all the snow to go away and I NEVER want to wear my coat again!" I had to laugh that a 4 year old felt the same as EVERY adult I have spoken to about our crazy winter weather. The funniest part about her comment was that you could hear the frustration and hopelessness in her voice. I reminded her, like I remind myself everyday, that the sun will soon come out to stay and we will have good weather soon!

2 Days and Counting......

We are off to the wonderful world of Disney (Disneyland) sunday morning. We are driving and I am really nervous about that. I am not only worried about how the kids are going to handle it, but how I am going to handle it. The last road trip we took I made sure to pack enough things to keep the kids busy and totally forgot about keeping myself busy. I guess I just assumed 8 hours of looking out the window was entertainment enough!! Not to mention this time I am 5 months pregnant, so I am planning this trip to be a little more uncomfortable than the last. This time I will bring plenty of stuff for me to do as well. We have a baby to name in the near future so I fully intend to get that accomplished during our adventure!

Jason and I have decided not to tell the kids, and we are so excited to see the look on Kaysia's face when she realizes where we are! I don't think Kyson will quite understand. I am really looking forward to our family vacation. I am anxious to see my kids' faces when they see their favorite characters 'for real'. It will definately be one of the trips of our lifetime and I CAN'T wait!!!
